Buds of Headband are small and are more like nuggets than dense, spade-like cones. The leaves are an even, pale green, although some plant phenotypes have a higher propensity for shades of purple (the result of cold temperatures activating anthocyanin compounds during the vegetative period). As might be expected of a strain with such high THC, Headband flowers are covered in silvery-white trichomes and are sticky to the touch — this is one strain that proves difficult to break up for joints or pipes without using a grinder. The initial smell of the cured flowers is tangy and lemony. Underneath these dominant scents is a faint skunkiness, along with some notes of pine. This is good for me during the day and night. I’m quite a big smoker and I’ve chased the different buds out there. Headbanger definitely lives up to the name. It calms me down after a long day and somehow during the day i feel calmer.

My ratings for this are so high because I have only tried Headband as a concentrate(amber glass). JESUS talk about medicated. For real though my anxiety is Horrid when I wake up. After I almost power heaved from the coughing fit(big dabb) my anxiety was not only gone, I was gone. I had a wicked sativa rush: hat flash, tightness around head then I became extremely relaxed and euphoric. This actually really helped stabilize my bi-polar.
